PingUs provides on-demand and scheduled technology support services for homes and businesses. Services may include troubleshooting, setup, installation assistance, diagnostics, and general technical support.Services are provided based on the information available at the time of service. Technology systems can be unpredictable, and outcomes may vary depending on hardware condition, software behavior, third-party services, and environmental factors.2. Dispatch & Scheduling
Submitting a request does not guarantee immediate service. Scheduling is based on availability, location, urgency, and service type.Priority or same-day requests may incur higher starting charges due to scheduling impact and limited availability.3. Pricing, Authorization & Payment Approval
All services are priced based on service tier and scope.A starting price will be confirmed before work begins.If additional work, time, or complexity is identified, customer approval AND payment authorization are required before continuing.Customers may decline additional work beyond the initial scope.PingUs reserves the right to pause or discontinue service if approval or payment is not provided.Pricing reflects response level and service effort, not guaranteed outcomes.4. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.Accepted payment methods may include cash, electronic payment apps, invoices, or online payment systems as available.Failure to remit payment may result in refusal of future services.5. Parts, Hardware & Replacement Components
PingUs does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts.
If a service requires new hardware, cables, accessories, or replacement components:
- The customer is responsible for purchasing required parts unless otherwise agreed.PingUs is not responsible for delays caused by unavailable, incompatible, or defective parts.PingUs is not liable for manufacturer defects, warranty issues, or third-party hardware failures.6. No Guarantee of Permanent Resolution
Technology issues may be caused or reintroduced by factors outside PingUs’ control, including but not limited to:
- software updates
- operating system changes
- internet service providers
- hardware aging or failure
- third-party applications
- user actionsWhile reasonable efforts are made to resolve reported issues, PingUs does not guarantee permanent, future-proof, or uninterrupted operation. Recurring or new issues may require additional service requests and fees.7. Customer Responsibilities & Data Protection
Customers agree to:
- Provide information about the issue to the best of their knowledge, understanding that full technical details may not be known
Inform PingUs of any known risks, warnings, or unusual behavior related to the device or system
- Ensure reasonable access to devices and systems during serviceData & Backups
Customers are strongly encouraged to back up important data prior to service.PingUs may assist with identifying or performing backups as a service, but the responsibility for data protection remains with the customer.PingUs is not responsible for data loss caused by pre-existing conditions, hardware failure, software corruption, malware, or system instability.Providing assistance with backups does not create a guarantee against data loss or transfer responsibility to PingUs.8. Safety, Conduct & Abuse Policy
PingUs maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or unsafe behavior.This includes, but is not limited to:
- Verbal abuse or harassment
- Discriminatory or threatening conduct
- Unsafe or hostile environmentsPingUs reserves the right to:
- Immediately terminate service
- Refuse future service
- Permanently ban customers from the platformNo refunds will be issued in cases involving abuse or safety concerns.9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
PingUs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service rendered.PingUs is not responsible for third-party services, internet providers, manufacturers, or software platforms.10. Refunds & Cancellations
This section is designed to align with standard payment processor and chargeback protections.Cancellations
Cancellations made before service begins may be eligible for a refund of the base charge, minus any non-refundable processing fees.
Cancellations after a technician has arrived or service has begun are not refundable.Refunds
Completed services are non-refundable.
Disputes regarding scope, pricing, or outcomes must be raised during service or within 24 hours after completion.
Dissatisfaction with results does not constitute non-performance.Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting PingUs to resolve the issue may result in:
- permanent refusal of future services
- submission of service records, approvals, and communications to the payment processor11. Business & Project Work
Larger installations, multi-visit services, or project-based work are scoped and quoted separately.
Project work is governed by written agreements that may include different payment terms, milestones, and cancellation policies.12. Refusal of Service
PingUs reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for reasons including but not limited to:
safety concerns
misrepresentation of the request
non-payment
repeated misuse of services
abusive behavior13. Changes to Terms
